Hey people,
I've been studying for the Java test for about 3 months now. I've been here asking questions with javaranch for about the same time. I feel that I am ready for the test as much as I ever will be. I plan on taking the test some time next week, possibly next Thursday.
But some outside opinions would help my confidence.
These are all my mock scores from three months ago to now (not in chronologicall order mind you, and I did wait for awhile before I took the same test again.):
Sybex: 50%, 66%, 76%, 90%
Mughal: 52%, 59%, 59%, 61%, 65%, 76%
Jxam: 65%, 67%, 72%, 78%
Valentin's Mock: 40%, 45% :-(
Brogdens Hardest: 50%, 71%
Majji: 75%, 80%
Rules Roundup: 65%, 77%, 94%, 100%
Marcus Green 1: 55%, 68%, 80%
Marcus Green 2: 65%, 65%, 78%
Marcus Green 3: 50%, 67%
Now I have done this with out the use of JQ+ or Jwhiz, which is not a brag, I'm just stating that don't be as impressed with these scores compared to other programmers.
I haven't taken the 3rd Marcus Green test in about 3 weeks, and I have someone chop up the questions and answers so its not is same ored ( i dont want to cheat myself now do i?)
So what do you guys think? Ready or not?
And Val,... sorry about getting such a low score on yours. I thought I knew what I was talking about but I think I missed 10 in a row on one section.
anyways...
All help appreciated as usual. Thanks.

Travis,
Your score list definitely shows that they have been improved over time. I take it the last column contains the scores of the last time you took the test, right?
Well, I would say that you are ready, but it never hurts to learn more. If you take the test next week, you will most surely get certified.
Be confident but not over confident as the latter may have a destructive effect. Take some rest and come back with a good news.

Travis,
If those scores are in sequence, you're probably ready if they were done in well under the 2 hour limit. For me, and some others I've talked to, the real test will slow you down.
If you think you're ready, go do it!

Thanks people. I appreciate the advice and encouragement.
Val: No worries, OVER confidence is something I definitely don't have.
Jon: Yeah, most of them were done in about 45 minutes to an hour.
Well wish me luck. If I run into any other problems before I take the test, I'll let you know.

Travis,
Could you provide the links for all the mock tests you stated.
Thanks,
