I have the following mock exam scores:
marcus green 1 - 68%
marcus green 2 - 86%
marcus green 3 - 75%
JQPlus average - 73%
Can anyone please suggest if these scores are just enough to get through the real exam?
Thanks in advance

I'd say you're right on the edge - keep studying.

I don't believe this sh... What is it that you need, Nithya? If you need a certificate, you are as good to go as anyone else. Forget about naysayers, take a little risk, go for it, you wont regret it! Good Luck.
Corey, edge is 60-61%. The guy is averaging over 75%... I don't know what u guys are running here, maybe breeding Java studs

Hi Nithya,
Your scores show that you have the fundamentals to get thru , the only thing you need to do now is give a lot of other mock exams & look for small mistakes you might have been doing . You have a week before your cert & that's enuff .
Here's what I did in my last week of preparation -
1.Took an average of 8 - 10 mock exams a day ( from the Javaranch list ).
2.Made a note of all the questions I answered wrong .
3.2 days before my exam I simply went thru all those questions I got wrong .
This worked for me very well as it was the smaller details I was missing .
On the other hand if you are getting low scores because you fail to see why a local variable can't be static ( and that sorta things ) you'll need more study time & a very personal advice in this situation would be to reschedule ( I did the same ).
Hope that helps
Ashish

Granted, I like to see people come out with great scores, but I really hate to see people come out of the exam missing it by one or two questions or even going into the exam filled with anxiety because they're not sure they're going to pass.
Rather, I'd like to see people go into the exam as if it was just a technicality. They know they'll pass, so it's just a matter of sitting down for an hour or two and going through the motions.
In order to get to this comfort level, I think you should be getting 75% or better on every exam you take and I'd really like to see people getting above 80%. If you can reach that point, there's no question you'll pass. So, that's what I recommend.
Corey

Thanks everyone for the suggestion.
My goal is just to get through the exam. I guess I will have to take more mock exams everyday and note down my mistakes.
Thanks again for the input.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
