help, My JRE dos not work. Is it virus?

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
I double click the *.jar file, it doesn't execute. But it worked well last week.
My OS is win98. jre1.4.0.
I find some strange files on my D: disk, i can't delete it or rename it, and the name is strange, such as " s = ".Def" and "ntln(b.g.etN".Is that virus?
Thanks for any help.

Hmmm...I've never seen that before. It's possible that it's a virus. It's also quite possible that it's not.
I'd check out Symantec's site. (They make Norton AntiVirus) and do a search to see what you might turn up.

Thank you, Corey McGlone.
My JRE is OK, but the *.jar files were damaged.I don't know the reason. After i formateed the D: disk, it worked fine.
