Hello,
I am going to take exam on July 8. I did some mocks and found that my weakest point is AWT API (no surprise since I have no real experience with AWT... do server side development on my job). Could anyone tell me what (approximately) part of exam questions deal with AWT? I mean should I study it really well or some book-based knowledge will do for the exam?
Thanks,
anna

from what I understand the tests are random... you could get one that has a lot of threads questions, or maybe more AWT questions... maybe a lot of inner classes...

I think book based knowledge would be sufficient to get through the exam.
Look up Core Java by Cornell and Horstmann. It deals with AWT (actually Swing) quite in detail.
Remember to go thru the API in detail. U need to know about the constructor for all the components as well as menus, layout managers. Plus their respective methods.
At least go thru following components
Frame, Window, Dialog, Panel, Button, Checkbox, Menu, List, TextField, TextArea
And the Layouts Border, Flow, Gridbag

Swing isnt a part of the exam. See the Marcus Green tutorial here. Its a great place to start, also, if possible, check out the R&H book.
