I have been studying to take the cert test for Java 1.2 and had planned on purchasing Jcertify 5.0 as a test simulator...Now it seems that a lot of attention is being placed on the Java 1.4 and it's cert test...need some advice on which test to conquer.

What is its cost and from where I can get that and how?

In response to a request from the developer of JCertify I put a link to it on my web page at the URL contained in my signature. The link takes you to the distributor that handles the purchase transaction and allows you to download the code.

Mandar, I have evaluated Jcertify 5.0 along with J@Whiz and have concluded that my choice will be Jcertify 5.0...there are more resources available to explain the answer then J@Whiz has. The one drawback on the functionality of the UI is that none of the windows are sizable. The exhibit window is also a fixed size. But I can work around this.

Dan, I understand that Jcertify 6.0 has been released and is for sale now. Have you had a chance to evaluate 6.0. Has the UI changed any for 6.0 (did they add sizable windows?). Do you use Jcertify 5.0 to prepare for the cert test?
