Hi,
I was interested in knowing if there is a way thatI could make the DOS window appear behind my applet and be hidden by it. When I make 3D applets it appears along with the applet. I wanted to make it invisible or layer it behind the applet.

I don't know if you are using the word "applet" to refer to any Java application or not... if you are using the java command to run your class, use javaw instead. This hides the output window. If you are actually using an applet, try running it in a browser instead of appletviewer. Since you need a newer version of Java than what comes with the browser ( I would assume, since you are using 3D stuff... ), you will need to use the Java 2 Plugin from Sun to use the Sun JRE instead of the browser JVM.
