I am preparing for exam 1.4 which I intend taking up 2 months from now. I am referring Khalid Mughal's Programmer's guide to Java Certification (1.2) plus the Certification Study guide by Simon Roberts(1.2). Is there any other book that I must refer like Exam Cram? Any other material for Exam 1.4?
Thanks for your help.

Hi Aneeta,
Khalids book is the tops in IMHO. You should also take a lot of mock exam's available freely on the net. If you've done your Java & cert is in the mind , then the mocks rule .
Check the mock exam list here -
Javaranch list& Guoquio Sun's list.
And here's an application I think is pretty cool -
Voodoo Exam. You can add questions to it & take exams on them later. The home page is currently down .
Do also try the mock exams on Dans site - Dan's site - cause he's got some exams on the new objectives.
And if you can then why not buy yourself a quizzer like JCertify or J@Whiz cause they have got rich content on the 1.4 objectives or so they say.

Hi,
I downloaded the study notes of Velmarugan and found that it was not for Java programmers certification ( it is for Sun Certified Web Component Developer for J2EE platform ). If any one has the notes could you please post it on the web.
Thanks in advance
Suraj
