Ah ha, caught you, you don't really get a free flight to London at all ....... but I have calculated that for the cost of other well known Java Courses you could fly to London from the US, do my course, stay at modest accomodation eat a decent curry (London is full of such emporioums) and fly back to the USA. Numbers on the course will be frozen in the next few days.
But enough of my dammned advertising of stuff I want you to pay for, how about something FREEE (our favorite price right?).
I have done the reverse and ended up combining a holiday (flying from London to SFO for rest & relaxation) and attending the Java Sun One conference (to revive a flagging Java career). Both were excellent but I must mention the authentic though very modest curry houses we found opposite Shannon Court Hotel near Union Square. A memorable experience in itself.

I have seriously wanted to attend JavaOne for about 4 years but every year I conclude that maybe I could spring for the flight and hotel but once you add on the cost of getting in It is just too much money. But if anyone at Sun ever wants a speaker on Java Certification I know just the guy. Marcus
Marcus, If you meant attending Java One in London , I don't think they advertise things here in a big way. The SFO Conference had discounts for hotels, flights, being a member of Java Developer Connection and additionally, free SUN ONE & SOLARIS software thrown in, probably which allowed for a modest entrance fee (just less than half the usual London prices). Enquired here beforehand but SUN UK had no plans for a similar event. Perhaps that's an idea you could use in addition to the fiery curry and customary warm beers.
