Congrats to all the winners -- but I just thought I'd post and say "neener neener" I just received my very own copy of the book so I can review it for the JavaRanch (look for my review in a few weeks).
I love the fact that if you go to Amazon.com it says "not yet published" and I've got a copy right here!!! -- neener neener again

OK, I do not know WHO *Jessica* paid , but Bert and I have still not received a copy! From what our editor says, Jessica is the first carbon-based lifeform outside of McGraw-Hill to have one.
(had to get the phrase carbon-based in there -- just saw the new Star Trek movie last night)
Disappointingly, though, she tells me that they changed their mind on running the full-page photo of me in my cowgirl outfit on the cover, and reverted back to the old red and blue thing. Oh well.
So be patient Alfred
And to the winners: have fun!
cheers,
Kathy

Think of how stupid the average person is. And how half of them are stupider than that. But who reads this tiny ad?
SKIP - a book about connecting industrious people with elderly land owners
