1st thing:
Welcome to the JavaRanch! Please adjust your displayed name to match the JavaRanch Naming Policy.
You can change it here.
2nd thing
The best way to prepare for the exam is to first get a good Certification book -- read it all the way through, take a couple mock exams, review the book once more, take some more mocks -- and you'll be all set... And of course ask as many questions as you need to and answer as many questions as you can here on the Ranch!
However -- you need to get a good understanding of Java first. You can find a good listing of books at our
bunkhouse.
My favorite is Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2 Study Guide (Exam 310-035 & 310-027) by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates.
Hope that helps, and again, Welecome to the JavaRanch!
