which classes overides equals()..?

Hi All,
Can anybody tell me where equals() is overidden which does deep copy. Like it is overidden in String class but not in StringBuffer class.Like this which classes overiddes equals().

Here is the alphabetic list of all methods which start with the letter "e". You can scroll down a bit and have a look at all equals() methods within all java packages.

String class and all the Wrapper classes override the equals method by default to check the contents of two objects. For other classes, u have to override equals() method explicitly.
