Hey,
I have just begun studying for the SCJP1.4 and would really like to know about possible traps in the exam from people who have taken the exam!
Any good guidelines??
I bought Kathy & Bert book (damn good) and I am considering buying a Whizzlabs product when preparing for the actual exam!
This forum is very usefull for java people, I wish we had something like that in Denmark!

Kathy and Bert's book is one of the best resources I know of for finding traps in the exam -- Pay particular attention to the "Exam Watch!" sections -- they point out all the little traps those tricky exam writers will try to catch you in.
Also, check out our handy-dandy FAQ, hopefully it will answer some of your initial questions about the exam and how best to go about studying for it.
Enjoy!

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
