How many questions one should expect on collections framwork and how much they count on the exam's total value ?

Questions are selected from a pool, so there's no specific amount for the questions you will get. You might get only 1 question, and the remaining on threads .
You can also be sure that all the objectives are evaluated.

Karan -
Andres is right, there's no way of telling beforehand. However, the collections questions WILL be at a fairly high level. If you understand what each of the classes is good for, when to use which class, and the basics of iterators, you'll be fine. If you have threads, inner classes and GC, TOTALLY covered you could choose to spend more time studying collections details, but really, collection details are a LOW study priority.

yes, as bert said, pay attention to iterators, and how they work. I underestimated that
