I'm trying to buy 'Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for
Java 2 Study Guide (Exam 310-035 & 310-027) ' by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates and came across this book also
'Sun Certified Programmer for Java 2 Study Guide Book/CD Package 3rd Edition'.
I found the 1st one in amazon.co.uk, it was published in Dec 2002.
I found the 2nd one in compman.co.uk, it is a 3rd edition and published in Jan 2003.
1. Is the second book more up-to-date? Or have they made a mistake on the publication dates?
2. Does the first book cover both the Programmer and Developer certification, whereas the second only the Programmer one?
What do you think? Recommend? As I'm only going for the
SCJP 1.4 for now.
