Hi All,
I am new to this forum. I am planning to take the certification(SCJP 1.4) exam by end of november.
I have 1 year of programming experince in java(but I lost touch in the past 2 yrs). Please let me know how I should start(preferred books to refer, mock up tests etc).I have downloaded exam topics from Sun 's website.
Please let me know how I should proceed...

Refer to Kathy and Bert books on SCJP. It is a great book.
Try out Dans exam as well.

Hi,
I also have some experience in Java 1.2 and new to this forum and thinking of taking SCJP exam. I have collected some info by searching in this forum. You can use this. Let me know if you come across something new.
And I am in counfusion whether to prepare 1.2 or 1.4..?
Which one are you planning to take and when?

Go for SCJP v 1.4 since since it is based on JDK V1.4
