Howdy -- I agree that this forum gives you a whole pile of study buddies! And since they're from all over the world, it's like a study buddy that never goes to sleep. (Although for some people cramming for the exam, that may be true!).

And I think three months, spending three hours a day is a good amount! You'll know when you're ready when you feel comfortable with the mock exams and get very good scores on mock exams that you haven't already taken earlier.
(There is a problem when you take a mock exam and then later take the same one, because you will get a higher score than you'd get if it were the first time you'd ever seen those exact questions, so make sure that when you are trying to assess your readiness for the exam, you do not take an exam you've already taken earlier.)
