hi y'll,
moi exam is just around the corner and i am finding multidimensional arrays quite difficult.
all moi examples and references are from k&b;
int [][] ratings =new int[3][];
ratings[0][0]=6;
ratings[0][1]=7;
ratings[1]= new int[3];
ratings[1][0]=9;
ratings[1][1]=8;
ratings[1][2]=5;
i dont seem to make any headway in respect to how to solve questions in
this area. infact i have failed every single practice question on it.
please explain it as simple as possible with examples since "the
examination will have a lot of complex questions that require calculations on it".

Your question is very generic and vague. I would appreicate if you give some sample questions. So that I can understand what is your problem in understanding of that questions?

This example by Bruce Eckel might be useful.
