I've finished Head First Java. Is Kathy and Bert's certification book next? My goal is to get my certification and I'm wondering if I should go through another book or begin preparing for the test.

Siki,
IMO, its not what book you read, its how much code you play with.
There are so many subtle statements in Java that you will learn
to appreciate when you start writing examples and seeing it for
yourself. But then, that's just me......

Madhav's got an excellent point. Start writing a bunch of code. Maybe try out our CattleDrive. It gives you a bunch of "assignments" to help you become a better programmer and we even critique it for you so you can improve.
After you get a bit more experience, I think getting the K&B Certification book is an excellent idea to help you accomplish your goal of being SCPJ certified.

I recommend taking a one or two free Java Practice exams and see how well you do. The exams should help guide you to areas that you need to work on.
I just got done reading the Head First Java book myself... great book!
