Today was supposed to be test day for me...but my plans were cut short by the poor customer service that Prometric provides. I arrived at the test center 1/2 hour before my test, only to find that my name was not on the list of test takers for the day. When the proctor looked it up my information on the computer...sure enough...it said that I was supposed to take the test today. However, my name still would not print out on his schedule. After an hour of calls to tech support, the proctor decided that this was a waste of time and I should leave and try to rescehdule my test for a different time. After calling, the people from Prometric agreed.

Now, I have to take an additional 1/2 day off of work to try and take my test again tomorrow. The Prometric representative on the phone said that, aside from mileage, there was no other compensation they could offer me for their mistake. In total, I will be missing an entire day of work, simply because of a small error that should have taken no longer than 5 minutes to fix. Moreover, I was definately looking forward to finishing my test today after the long weeks of studying.

My suggestion to anyone who has an upcoming test date...make sure that your records are on file with not just prometric, but also at the test center.
