Hi, i have done my bachelors in computer science and engineering.i have basic knowlwdge of java.i have read books by kathy/bates and Khalid mugal.i am scoring an average of 60 - 65% in a few mock exams i took today for the first time.I do well once i read a chapter and do the questions, but over a period of time, when i answer questions i tend to perform poorly.i don't where i'm going wrong.Could someone tell me how to prepare so that i get a score of 90%.

You got to practice a lot. Select a topic for example bit operators. Write some small code and play around with that code. Observe the compiler generated messages and try to figure out what made compiler unhappy
In short, Practice

Hi Saeed,
Don't worry that much, I am sure that you are on the correct track, I personally feel that you should read the book of Kathy, and do all the mock exams of the Whizlabs simulator. I have seen lot of my students getting good results becuase of these resources. Normally they get the mark which they got for the final exam of the Whizlabs in the real exam. Even I got 48 in the final exam and got 49 in the SCJP exam. So good luck with for the examination....
