Hello all,

Overriding methods can NOT be more restrictive. Can somebody point me to any link where I can find explanation about why the overriding method cannot be more restrictive? I'm searching JLS and other links for the answer meanwhile.

Thanks guys

Shourya

I found the answer. Had restrictions were allowed, it would have been problem to JVM to call overridden method.

I found good explanation in book written by Kathy.

Thanks
