hi
I am not sure what you meant by your question.
If you are visitng a site and the page that reaches you is generated by a servlet/jsp, that does not mean the class file reaches you. Actually your request for a servlet will load the servlet intot he memory of the Web server(if it has not been loaded yet) and then it will be processed(first it's init method will be called and then for each get/post doGet/doPost will be executed. The output generated by this execution which is usually what is written into the response(HttpServletResponse) is transmitted to the client side and it is then displayed by the browser in HTML format.
If you are talking about the applet- the applet is loaded into the client's memory and run on the browser. So usually it is in the memory while the applet is being viewed thru the browser. After that it is stored in the cache memory. If the applet's name is MyApplet, try looking at the cache folder of the browser for a class file having a name MyApplet*.class where * is any sequence of number.
regards
Tanveer
