I passed SCJP1.4 on Dec 29th 2004. I was wondering how much time does it take to get the actual certificate ?
Thanks...

You will receive it via postal within 30 business days.

It declares 30 days because certs usually are not print and send individually. They might wait for a batch (say 10 candidates), print all certs and mail them all together.

Thanks Nicholas for the reply,
I just checked in the cert-manager and in the history I see the following

Posted Date/Time: Jan 5, 2005 7:01:11 AM
Fulfillment request #xxxxxxx for Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform 1.4 Kit; status: Mailed

Does that mean the certificate is on the way or it's just the welcome kit ?

Thanks again..

If the status has been changed to mailed, then your cert. kit has been already passed to postal office.

Just wait for some more time to receive it.
