why no parseBoolean( )  RSS feed

why there is no parseBoolean method .
it may work for boolean primitives as valueOf work for Boolean object .

I know that you can't do anything for it . But I post here because .. in case if any body has good logic for it ... and one more thing it may help to remember this for the exam ...
