How has the Wrapper classes changed?

Actually one of the big things about Java 1.5 is its backwards compatibility with 1.4. Meaning you should not have to change any of your 1.4 code to compile under 1.5.

If the wrapper classes changed, then wouldn't that break the backwards compatibility?

I think you're talking about the autoboxing/unboxing feature here, right? Chapter 14 of JLS 3.0 mentions the legal argument types for if, for, while and switch statements.

Just name a few that a 1.4 gal can't do right by ignoring the following topics for the 5.0 beta exam:
* static import
* enhanced for loop
* covariant return
* enum
* variable length argument
* generics
* autoboxing/unboxing

You really have to study the objectives of 5.0 beta exam very closely and try them out by coding.
