Hi
In a previous discussion (http://www.javaranch.com/ubb/Forum23/HTML/000440.html) it was stated that it was possible to bundle the JSObject (and presumably the JSException) class with an applet. Will this remove the need for the client to have the latest version of the java plug-in installed ?
Could someone please direct on how to 'bundle the class file' with my applet.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Dec

Hi,
You bundle those classes with your applet in a .jar file and set the codebase tag in your HTML page to the jar you created. You will then be able to call javascript functions from your applet..but you will still require the java plug-in.
