HI Vicken,
I have seen this link here in this link i have not found anything regarding AWT components, Layout Manager, Event handling, but some of the SCJP books, and some SCJP materials also contains the above topics, so i am confused so i want to know whether it is there or not.

I/O & AWT are in SCJP 1.2 . They are not in SCJP 1.4 . Which you are going to take ?

Hi Sri
The books you have seen were probably written to cater to SCJP 1.2 requirements. As of SCJP 1.4 all these things have been left out.
And anyways information at Sun's site should be trusted more than any thing else when it comes to Java and Java related technologies

AWT and Swing also not included in SCJP Tiger, but they are added back to SCJA.
