Can a static method be overridden by a static method in a subclass.
If so what does it mean..Since a static method is a class method and belongs to every instance of the class..does it also belong to the subclasses provided it is not private?
If so when it overriden by its subclass static method agin what does that mean ..
Is it the same with variables??

A static method cannot be overriden in the subclass, When you do so it's called hiding.
This question is asked many times here. If you do a search it 'll be more clear.
