Hi all,
I wanna pass SCJP with 100% score.Its a business requirement.Is it really possible to score 100% in SCJP 1.4 exam.My exam is scheduled on May 2nd. Help Me!

I am following suit on May 12th.

If u ask me , 100% is possible but it will take lot of prep

It is possible to get 100 % in scjp. You just have to work a bit harder than usual. Read K & B over and over again till you understand absolutely every thing ( But since you have your exam on may 2 , i would suggest go through as many times as you can and dont forget the two minute drills!! Read them before the exam.From my personal experience i can tell you that they are really helpful )

After that its upto taking mock exams .... Take as many mocks as you can ( My suggestion would be to take the mock in K & B CD as the final one as it resembles the real exam most among all mocks )

Im sure with each mock exam you take you will learn some thing new !!!

And finally keep your cool in the exam. That is where it really matters..

I have schedules my exam on 25th May, Do you have any two minute drills notes, so that will help me in my preparation.

Guys ,Can anyone point us to some mocks specific to scjp1.4 alone.It would help me a lot !

100% is achievable...people had done it...

and i can say too coz i missed only 2 questions....and its on threads.....

some have also said that thread questions on the exam was challenging.

me too i just missed two and that too on threads !!

As far as i know most people lose out in threads ( which contains about 12 to 13 questions ) and GC. look out for these sections and if you get these right , it could be possible to get 100 %


Apart from the mock in K & B i did not find any thing that is for 1.4 alone , they all contain questions about I/O and AWT . My strategy was simple , when i took mocks containing such questins i just ignored those questions !!!.

Dont worry if you dont get any body's notes , the two minutes drill given at the end of each chapter in K & B is good enough.
