Hey gang,

I recently got my SCJP in 1.4 and lo and behold Sun decides to come out with the 5.0 exam. I was just looking at the requirements for the upgrade exam and it looks like they brought back questions on java.io. Does anyone know why Sun decided to do this and what are some other differences? And, yes I know generics is one of them. It also looks like the passing grade got more strict.

Thanks,
Rich

SUN will release the upgrade exam for sure, but seems it will not be released soon.

More difference:
Autoboxing
Enhanced for loop
some OOP concepts

Also, this question has been asked for several times, please do a simple search to locate those posts.

The upgrade is already out and is available on the Sun website.
