How to open notepad on mouse click

Hi there,
Can anybody help me in following problem...i want to open notepad when i will click in applet...waiting for positive rep l y . .

Why are you trying to do this in an applet? I'd think there would be serious security problems ( i.e. run "format c:" instead of "notepad.exe" ), as well as platform dependency problems ( What happens when someone surfing the 'Net on their Mac or Linux box tries to run your applet? ) with this concept...

Sorry if I sound mean , but perhaps there is another way to reach the results you want to get from this without doing it through notepad...
