can someone plz explain to me why it says "world wide" on Sun's web site when it isn't true.

i am in Spain and i rang up Sun and asked if this was true. They told me that they have no idea about any discount, and that it must only apply to the U.S

what is going on??

The same thing happened to me in the UK as when I got the email confirmation/receipt after buying the SCP voucher (and filling in the discount code) it showed that the full amount would be taken off my card (without the 25% off). I complained to Sun uk and they said the discount wouldn't work in the uk as they hadn't heard of it. So I showed them the sun website with the discount and asked when had the UK been officially considered out of this world i.e. not world-wide? They wouldn't budge and were particularly unhelpful.

But when I checked my credit card statement the amount shown was for an amount with 25% off i.e. �83. So in the end it was ok.

Thats very strange, i don't know what to do, because i'm not going to buy the voucher via internet, i was going to make the transaction to Sun's account.
So know i'm not sure if i should send the whole money or what, coz one thing is for shore, they won't send back the 25% if you make a transaction manually. Or would they.??

Sun got in contact with me and told me the discount is now valid, it seems it IS worldwide, it just didn't get transmited to overseas Sun's, until someone actually enquired about it. But it's all good now.
