Hello

I'm hoping to sit the Sun J2SE exam (Sun Certified Programmer) later this year. We covered Java to J2SE in our programming class last year (I'm a 41 year old part time student at RMIT in Melbourne Australia) and our lecturer recomended the "Sun Certified Programmer & Developer for Java 2" Study Guide isbn 0-07-222684-6. I bought this book and I'm buying the "Heads First Java" Second Edition book. I noticed the Java game (with the cows) on this site. What are the other good online mock exams (preferably free) that I should look at?

Thanks

Hi, Peter.

I myself practiced for this exam with the Whizlabs Exam Simulator. It comes with 8 or 9 different practice mock exams, 1 final exam, 1 diagnosing exam and 1 Customizable exam. It comes with about 850 different questions.

It will certainly teach you many mistakes you might make in the exam. Although, at the end, the real exam is easier than the ones that come with the simulator. And Whizlabs offers you 150% Test Pass Warranty!

Well, I just can say it worked for me.

Welcome to JavaRanch Peter. Here's a list we keep on this site. Some of the links are broken unfortunately.
