JApplet gaining focus - VERY URGENT

How to gain focus to the first component in a JApplet while invoking through a browser.Also when it gain focus it should traverse thorugh rest of the components in the JApplet using TAB.

hi,
try transferfocus() method in the component class to shift the<br>
focus and requestfocus() to get the focus..<br>
hope this works, i'm not sure :-D<br>

WE TRIED THESE TWO OPTIONS

Hi J,
I just override the start method and call the request focus. It usually works. The example shown below should start the focus on the third textfield. The TAB functionality usually works for me by default.
