should i go for scjp 1.4 or scjp 5.0

hi friends

i have been preparing for scjp 1.4 and was thinking to appear in the exam either in october or jan 2006 due to MCA exam. Now i m in dilemma that either i should go for scjp 1.4 or scjp 5.0. i m not prepared for scjp 5.0. if i appear in jan, then should i prepare for scjp 5.0.

plz help me.

IF you think you got enough time to prepare you can opt for the latest trend but Its like buying the latest model of new car
We should wait and see the market performance
I am going for 1.4 atleast becuase my company is using 1.4 we always have upgrade exams.

hi naresh... i think going for SCJP5 would be better coz its updated n since u r studying still it wud b better u higher.... but do consider preplevel if u think more than 75% than u shd not change ur course....

And yes u people r right. i m 75% prepare for scjp 1.4 thats why don't want to change and if i feel confidence in last of this month, i can go for scjp 1.4.
