Can anybody tell me where to find tips and tricks for bit manipulation operators?

Thanks in advance,

Yeah beyond that ........

Something like this for ^,>>,<< and >>.

Swapna and all,

Just a reminder that if you're studying for the SCJP 5.0 exam you don't have to worry about bit shifting and bit twiddling topics - they were removed for the 5.0 exam

However, if you're studying for 1.4... well... carry on!
