Hi

I enquired NIIT in bangalore about the cost of SCJP voucher they said it cost around 5900 and is valid only upto dec31st 2005.

Also i enquired other place they said it 7200/-

SO i am confused where to buy? Also confused about validity of SCJP voucher.

Usually the vouchers are valid for a year from the date of purchase, so I don;t know how the NIIT voucher is valid only until 2005 end.
If I were you the first thing I would decide is that can I appear for the exam before 2005 ends, and if I can I will go for the Rs. 5900 voucher. Man that is only $134..$16 discount...but make sure it is what you want!!

Roopesh.

I live in Mumbai but I did buy voucher from Banglore as here it costed something like 6000 but there 5400, it is valid upto 30 june 2006.
But I bought before 30 june 2005 so I got 25% discount as Java was celebrating 10 years (actual 7200 discount25% = 5400).

Ask them NIIT why 5900 on what basis they are giving discount, or
prepare yourself buy voucher and give exam straight away on same day
if possible.

i think karu u r mistaken. i m from delhi and going to purchase the voucher too. NIIT guy say that if i buy the voucher before 30th sept. they ll offer 20% discount but the validity would be 1 year.

hope u clarify with them.
