hi,
I have coded an applet which accepts numbers and creates a Linked list from it and displays it in graphical form.It works fine in appletviewer but when I try to upload it in a browser it gives
java.lang.ClassFileNotFound exception:java.util.LinkedList.
Could anyone tell me what am i doing wrong.
thanks

I'd bet that you are just using the JVM built into the browser (which is 1.1) and you are using part of the collections API which is not included in that version. (Introduced in 1.2)
* You can get a version of the collections API for 1.1
* Change from LinkedLists to Vectors
* Use the Java Plug-In to specify a newer version of the JVM
