Hello!

The Head First Java book does cover important Tiger features, but it's not a certification book. If you are already an experienced Java programmer you might want a more advanced book, Head First Java is meant for beginners and intermediates

We do have a certification book for Tiger that is due to hit the bookstores any day now. There are also other resources you can use to study for the Tiger exam, and if you search this forum you will find links to those resources.

Also, we like to keep things friendly around JavaRanch, and we've found that when people use their real names, things are a lot nicer. I'd ask you to change your display name to be your real first and last name. Thanks!

This forum is a great place to ask and answer questions about the SCJP exam, and we hope you'll stick around.

Bert

It's a tiny ad. At least, that's what she said.
