Upgrade or new certification

Hi,

I have SCJP 1.4 Certification. I know Sun came out with newwer version 5.0 exam. My question is should I go for the updrade to 1.5 or prepare for a new certification like Sun Certified Developer (SCJD) or Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD)?

For SCJD and SCWCD you don't need to upgrade SCJP from 1.4 to 1.5

Assuming that the upgrade exam is just about new stuff you will probably have a better score with the new exam covering also old stuff. If the price is the same it's a no brainer.

Thanks for reply. Yes going for SCWCD makes more sense. I think I was concerned about having SCJD 1.4 would look bad on resume while 1.5 is out? I guess not that much, aye?
