ref.type array - downcasting

Hi,
Khalid's book says, all arrays of reference types are also subtypes of the array type Object[].

   
class One
{
 int i=20;
}
 
class Test
{
public static void main(String args[])
{
 
 One []a= new One[2];
 for(int i=0;i<a.length;i++)
 {
     a[i]=new One();   
 }                     
 Object o[]=a;
 
// a=(a[])o;--compilation error
 
//Here i want to downcast the array object from o[] to a. can u help me?
 
 System.out.println(a);
  
}
}

hi,

in this line // a=(a[])o;--compilation error
you r wrongly type the type cast type as (a[]), it should be (One[])
