I had been preparing for SCJP(1.4 version) for a couple of weeks now and just got to feel comfortable with it. But since seeing the whizlabs mock exams and a high succes rate, I am thinking of going for SCJP(version 5.0). My experience with Java is not much but the thing is if I have to spend $150 for the exam , why not go for the latest version. Any suggestion as to which exam to go for and how to preapre will be greatly appreciated.
If you have enough time and willingness to study, go for 5.0. You will learn new things, it's always good. :-)

Anybody knows about a job for <a href="http://cern.ch/jvalenta/valenta-cv.pdf" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">SCJP5.0, Ph.D. in Software Engineering, 2 years Java, C, C++</a> in Montreal, QC, Canada? Thanks!
As Jan said, if you have the time, why not go for 5.0 ? There may be less material than 1.4 on Internet, but there still is Bert and co's new book for this exam.
