I have read that it is possible to get a Java Application to Open Microsoft Word. Is it possible to get an Applet to open up word & insert text from the users input in the applet?
Does anyone know where I can get information on this subject or has anyone solved this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

If you actually want an applet to control Word, you'll need a signed applet and some sort of OLE glue module to run the automation interface.
Depending on what you need to do, it might be easier to send the text down to a server that produces RTF and returns it as a complete Word-formatted RTF document.
