Good day to all..
I'm currently working with IBM in sydney want to relocate to US,Is there anyone who can give me some tips about getting a sponsor for work permit.
I would appreciate your replies..

All H1B visas were used for this year. The new cycle doesn't come in until September. You may have better luck if you can get your current employer to sponsor you since they would not require an H1B.
Right now the demand for H1B's is greatly outstripping the supply. Although there are bills before Congress to increase the number of H1B visas available, the outcome is still up in the air.

Since IBM is based in the US .. I would apply to a tranfer within IBM (to a US based dept) ... shouldn't be a problem then.
