100% Passing

Im an SCJP and worked pretty hard for my certfications. But Im not sure whats goin on these days. Few of my friends claim to have links with the prometric centers and get any exams cleared with 100% guarantee. Seemed impossible, but when i called up and visited the testing center I was disheartened to see that all is true. Is any one aware of some authority to whom this issue can be reported. I have phone numbers, testing center location, SITE ID's etc. And moreover its not just one particular site but many of the sites and really any exam can be get done.

Just to verify what you're saying: Are you suggesting that there is corruption at certain testing centers? And candidates are being passed without regard to their performance?

If that's the case, then I suggest you immediately contact Sun with as much detail as possible...

Sun Microsystems, perhaps, or Prometric (if it's a Prometric site you're talking about).

Hi Jimmy,
I guess that's pretty much impossible. The questions are random and you really need an expert and by expert i mean someone very knowledgable to sit by your side to help you. Second you should know that most of the prometric exams i guess are recorded and if someone is sitting by your side you will have it in the recording. Still if you think that someone is able to get around all the provisions made for Computer Based Exams to be authentic then you immediately need to contact Sun. I think the sun contact addresses mentioned above should be the first point of contact. I can provide you direct contacts at sun if this is not handled correctly by the ones on contact address.

I share my concerns with Jimmy Singh. Ofcourse, I too have seen people claiming confidently that they can manipulate these certification exams in India. However, I have not come across any concrete evidence. But I personally get the impression that its all happening here.

Hi,

This was quite a surprise for me to know that such corruption is happening there also.We are working so hard for it but some are getting marks without any efforts.But nothing to worry,those people cannot survive in the company for long.But I personally feel that you should inform to the concerned person.

Well u people dont understand the severity of the problem. Prometric centers in India are openly flouting all the rules. they take snapshots of the questions and after that finding answers is not a big thing. I bet I can get exam done for ne1 to prove at end of the day this issue is going to ruin our lives.

Instead of getting frustrated and complaining abouth what nots, please go ahead and send a mail to the contact Bert gave. I still don't believe that its possible to hack a exam, i don't understand what snapshots you are talking about when the questions never are the same and time is limited. Instead of shooting in the dark and depresing others and maligning your country (saying it happens only in India) on a public forum please go ahead and do what needs to be done, that is send out a mail and take some ACTION, rather then behaving like an incompetent politician and starting a debate without yourself taking any action. if it is happening it needs to be mended and you are not doing any good by saying you can get this done or that done, we don't want you to get us certification, but please file a complaint.

This practice was quite common in case of Microsoft certification but I am really diappointed to hear about Java certification. One who is putting so much effort would not like that the other person would get away without putting effort and scores more. I think the issue should be reported to Sun and it's their liability to maintain the credibility then.

Just to add to the above, I know of a friend who used to impersonate others and write SCJP exams for a test centre.

Not easily, but, it is possible them some centres are still doing this.

Jimmy, you do have a chance of putting an end to this.

This will not only be a good news to all of us hard-working people, but, also put back faith on anyone doing a certification from india.

well prometric centres near my home (new delhi) ask for 15000 Rs for SCJP or for that matter ny java certification

well they do so by making someone else appear for exam and by switching the inspectionbal web cam off

and later they say that cam was out of order
