Hi,
I am trying to run an applet from mozilla. I have jsdk1.3 installed on my machine. Now how can i edit mozilla so it knows JRE exists on the system? Netscape and IE work fine and load applet successfully but not mozilla. I am prompted to download plug in which i guess i may use JRE from jsdk1.3. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Hi SoonAnn,
The Java 2 pluggin usually tells the browser about itself:
Go to your control panel and bring up the pluggin console.
Click on the advanced tab
Make sure that the Java Runtime Environment is specified to point to a specific spot where you put your JRE bins. For example it should read:
JRE 1.3 in C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.0.2_1
instead of:
Use Java Plug-in Default
Regards,
Manfred.
