Garbage collection explanation

//after line 6,how many objects are eligible for garbage collection
1)0
2)1
3)2
4)3

Answer is 2)1.I would like to know my understanding is correct.
x reference has object Java_StudyNotes()
x2 reference has object Java_StudyNotes()------------------this line is GC after x2=x4
x4 reference has object Java_StudyNotes()
After executing x2=x4; both x2 and x4 reference Java_StudyNotes.

Please coorect me,if I am wrong .
