Hi,
Is their any method where in i can give a message like "Applet loading Please wait" before my applet completely loads?
Any one please help

Sure you can! You can put up a Canvas and paint your message on it at the very beginning of the init() method in your applet. The "real" display can initialize after that, or run in its own thread if you want some animation in your "please wait" display.
If you want to put this message in the status bar of the browser, HTML/JavaScript controls would probably be a better way of doing it.
