hi all,

First of all i want to start to preparing SCJP from today on words.My Java is not too much good but i want to prepare for this Exam.
In which way i can start this and how much time required to certify this exam.
which book is good for reading java and for this SCJP.

hello meghna,
Cracking SCJP is not a big deal but it requires patience.
If u r already familiar with JAVA, u can start with K&B.
It requires a thorough knowledge of JAVA so go atleast twice
through this book.
3 months are sufficient for this exam(if u r regular).

i wud suggest u first of all go thru Head First Java by Kathy n Bert if ur fundas r not gud,as m goin thru it. then u sud go for certification guide by the same.
