I recommend that you go to and search for SCJP or Paul sanghera under the books category and take a look at the SCJP book by Dr. Paul Sanghera. This book is being published in a few weeks. I'm recommending this because I used the SCBCD Exam Study Kit by Paul Sanghera to pass my SCBCD certification exam. I really enjoyed that book. I did not know anything about the topics covered in the SCBCD certification exam. But, I passed the exam by just studying from his book.
Best of luck.
